Usually architectural subjects are my favorite, but I like this one best for April. This was taken at one of my favorite Starbucks ( my second home) early one morning. I was shooting all around the area and when I turned, I saw her sitting there obviously intent on her work. Maybe she is a student studying. Maybe doing research for court. Lots of Lawyers live in that area. I noticed the framing possibilities so I shot several. Not once in the 30 minutes that I was shooting her at different angles did she even look up at me.Everyone else did. LOL! Hope you like it. Thanks! IMGP0659A by ebamismoi, on Flickr

Beautiful image Joe. That repeating red colour is great.

This is probably my favourite "straight" image of the previous month. As soon as I saw the vine, with the glorious colour of the last remaining leaves and the beauty of the old, gnarly trunk, I knew she was a subject!

Forgive me the play here but I've gone back to this image more than once and while I can see it as you have portrayed it, I've also seen it in a far more alien atmosphere - almost sinister if you would allow the connection. This is a conversion to B&W, three passes in SEP, copying and pasting over the original, flatten then several HSL layers in red and yellow channels and finally, a duplication with a 22% layer using the multiply blend mode. Flatten again. Please, again, I am just playing and in no manner wish to degredate a truly wonderful original image.

I don't think you can do anything wrong to this image of Kit's as it's a jewel of a find

No problem, Chris. I am happy to see another interpretation and you have produced a more gritty image.
