I'm not entirely on solid ground here, as my exposure to meeting etc. has been entirely of the English variety. But I've been led to believe that US Quakers are very different indeed. However, I'd love to know more about the similarities and differences as I'm aware of my assumptions and how much I don't know on the subject.

In all honesty, I've only met two English Quakers (relatives of Ed), but upon listening to them discuss doctrine, it was kind of like listening to two different threads of the Presbyterians or Methodists...different, but the same.
