$100...it's small potatoes, but it's a 100 smackers I didn't have before I took that shot.

That's awesome! Those $100's add up.
So, did she buy it off the LCD view or did you take her a print to try and sell it?

I took her the print just to show her because she was curious as to its outcome the day I made the shot. She liked it so much, she bought it...though I think partly because her aunt hand makes the blouses.

How neat. It's great when something you love to do brings a smile or happiness to someone else.

This is lovely and so glad you made a few smackers from it. Contrasty again, but that really suits the image. Mate - score!!

I wondeered about Kit's remark of being too contrasty and at the time I processed this, I wonder as much...but I was tired, it was late...yadda-yadda. On this visit, I pulled the contrast way back. The linens are a very pale ecru color. It was quite bright as it neared the late afternoon hours, and the blouses were hung against a dark doorway which was bright white..it did make for an interesting exposure. Comments will be greatly appreciated.

How can I ever expect to move forward if you guys don't comment on my edits? I took Kits suggestion of the contrast being a bit testy and moved the other way, more toward the white side than the ecru side... So, what are your thoughts on the edit? ?? Please!

Hello Chris, Reason I've not commented is that in your second edit you went in a direction that you obviously like – but which I feel is not an improvement. So...... Within the limitations of a jpeg – which in this case are considerable – I took your first edit and reworked to this.
