First, I want to thank all the members for actively participating on the two previous assignments that we had. Awesome sets of images submitted! For this month of November, our next topic to interpret would be the word: RED. There would be no restriction on the interpretation except no nudity allowed. There are also no restriction on the post-processing. You are encouraged to submit 5 images based on your interpretation of the word " RED". Please be reminded that we are limiting the biggest dimension size for your submitted images up to 1024px only. It's either the width or the height that should be 1024px long. You can interpret the word using only one subject or multiple subjects depending on your style and taste. The assignment will be open until November 30, 2011. There are no prizes to be won here. Just our own way of sharing what we know all and our creative ideas to all members. I hope that more members will participate and show us your creativity and skills. ;D Good luck guys.

Also a quick tip; watch out for colour clipping. Red is known for it in certain light conditions

Awesome! It's as if the red areas of the train are floating! Is it all going to be about trains or are they varied subjects, Barry? You're off to a good start! ;D

I just now need to find a few more red items ;D The varied the subject, the merrier! ;D I was thinking of shooting some ripe tomatoes but I got interested more on my miniature bike so I stick to it.

Barry your post box is superb. That one was two exposures, the first exposure using a R72 Infrared filter, and the second exposure without the filter so that I could get the letterbox using visible light. Then they were both merged in CS3.
