It has been a while since we had a just for fun shooting assignment but several members have expressed a desire for these to start again. Assignments can be a great way of getting your creative juices flowing by getting out of your comfort zone and forcing you to think about creating images specifically for this assignment. Hopefully we can all learn a little along the way. So please do get involved.
The topic for this month is "The Numbers 1 to 5".
The assignment - Create a series of 5 images each representing the number 1, 2, 3, 4 and 5. You can interpret the theme however you wish so you can be literal such as; 1 Tree, 2 kids playing, The number 3 on a mailbox etc etc; or you can be much more lateral with only your imagination and creativity to limit you.
The rules - The only rule is that images must be all your own work and have been taken after the date that this thread was started.

Has anyone done any shooting for this assignment yet? I have three images nailed and hope to get the other two done today. Should be ready to submit the series in the next few days I hope.

I may have an idea, it might need an October image to add to the set of 5 though....

OK so here are my submissions. They are a varied mix but I had fun doing them. 1-Teleph-ONE This was taken with my i-Phone when I was walking to my office. I was really looking for something else but I couldn't find what I wanted and this just jumped out at me. 2-Two Faced This is kind of weird I think. It looks normal at first but when you really look at it, something isn't quite right. It is a composite of my two kids faces, camera right Lewis, camera left Joshua. 3-Three Threes This is at a wind farm a few miles from where I live. 4-Four Scotty This wasn't what I had originally planned for this shot but the windmill I had my eyes on for the last week turned out to be somebody's house and they didn't allow any access 5-Five Alive I had this idea in my head since last weekend but it kind of developed in a different direction yesterday morning. I blame it on a lack of sleep and being dosed up to the eyeballs with cold and flu remedies. Thanks for looking. Any comments are most welcome. Now I have started the ball rolling, there is no need to be shy

Telephone and 'Help Me' are very good...gritty and thought provoking...if the the flu remedies help with the creativity go for it. I have been drawing on a e-cigarette since Wednesday...I can even use it at my computer...still no joy but I don't stink any longer...well not much

That is how I justified buy the new camera. I would like to say that I have never felt better.......but I can't, I have been poorly ever since quitting.

Chris, that is terrible. I must say I am feeling far better already with these cartomisers. Of course you still get the nicotine but none of the tar and carcinogenic chemicals. After 9 days I can run up 12 flights of stairs without getting out of puff. It is amazing how quickly the body starts to recover. Oh and the entry...I am getting back into things slowly
