I'm not sure I see what you are referring to, Katy, but I do like that image. Don't think I have seen it before. Oh, geesh! I know it's there and, now, I'm little embarrassed that I plunked that big ol' photo of mine right in the middle of Kay's thread but I wanted it to be big enough for someone to see....

Katy, I can see what you mean by "smudges" but only if I tilt the laptop 'way back to about 15 degrees from horizontal. I can then see what looks like a very faint image of (maybe) the original. It is more noticeable on the righthand side of the image, as though perhaps the cloning, whatever, didn't "take" somehow.
Just for interest, I'll post up the original lily as that shows how much pp was required to pull the final lily out of the background. Will have to be in a couple or so days though, as we are about to hurtle off to stay at....the beach!! Yay for NZ summers!!!

Yes, Katy - warm balmy evenings, spent with something favourite in your hand, gazing out at the view of the sea as gentle zephyrs waft their fingers across your lightly sweating brow. ;D Heeeee!! I shouldn't tease those of you who are knee deep in snow and slush... Anyway, back to more serious thangs. I said I would post up the original of the lily above and here 'tis: As you can see, I am pretty crap at originals, but seem to have acquired a knack of making them seem not too bad with a little general fiddling.

I must add my congratulations Kit - that is a stunner Having no experience in this field I cannot add anything in that line, so I will just stick with the wonderful calming effect that an image such as this brings. Thank you for sharing Now I must away and work on my avatar - the whole Bears thing & now a cheeky cat! In the mix, I can't keep up
