I was a bit surprised to find so much color so late in the morning. This is the south end of Lake Washington and Mt. Ranier in the background.

I am thinking I need to clone the bottom right corner, what say you?

Heavy sigh! Makes me homesick! Love the shot! Excellent job on the edit! Makes me homesick as well. Most of Paul's images make me homesick. It is a beautiful shot!

Much better with the cloning Paul but it looks a little dull to me. Perhaps just a little more vibrancy. I can see why you may feel constrained with the reflection in adjusting the white point but the centre is blown anyway so I think you could get away with it.

Nice place to spend your lunch time. I like the water that has been lit up by the sun, but as Steve suggested, just adjust the levels a bit to make the whole image a bit more vibrant.

Thanks everyone, it was a little flat. Helps to look with fresh eyes in the morning and get the suggestions. I played with the white point and gave it just a bit more saturation.

That is so much warmer, I can almost feel the heat here. Much better.

Paul, that is very nice - jealous I am. Living in a northern area can sometimes have it's compensations.

Nice view Paul. A couple of suggestions if you don't mind. 1-Did you clone something out of the water just to the left of the sun reflection? There is a rough patch of water there that draws my eye too much. It almost looks like a boat has been zapped but the ripples remain?? 2-There are two blue objects on the jetty that seem to draw attention a little bit too. Maybe they could just be calmed down a bit?? I am being picky but only because I think the image deserves it

Thanks Steve, the rough spot is natural, just a difference in the water for whatever reason. As for the blue tarps.....I agree and had thought about it. Guess that answers my question. Ok Steve, just replaced the last image with one with the blue slide toned down and blue tarp cloned out. Better? Now I think the slide has to go. ;D
