I like this Chris. It has great range of tones and is very well composed. What I am seeing though is some posterisation and black haloing on the rail. The posterisation is suggestive of over sharpening on an image that has noise present in the first instance. It may be worth looking at some selective sharpening methods/software. If you are using basic USM it will apply the same level of sharpening across the image and that could be the cause of the posterisation in areas where noise is present (bottom of the overhang, just over the window).

I like this as well, the dark sky really brings out the clean lines of the building. Could you had possibly taken this shot without having the rail in view.
Agree with Steves comment about using the USM as a global adjustment, I always use the USM on a duplicate layer of the background layer, then use the layer mask to select what parts of the image I want sharpening and to what amount.
