Converted this to B&W from an image I had posted in another thread. This was taken from outside, through a glass door(with bars). IMGP9476BB&W by ebamismoi, on Flickr

I saw this one on your Flickr site, the BW processing with the touch of grain, makes for a very atmospheric image. I like the dark base of the image, it pushes the eye upwards to the table and window, and the outside view.

Oh, hmmmm! I can't tell if I like this or not, now, because I liked the first one in color so well. I seem to remember liking the greenish glow on the lamp chimney and I'm missing that. but, like I said...sometimes, we get attached to the first version of an image we've seen.

I have not seen the colour version, but I do like this one, you have controlled the exposure well and it is nicely composed.

Thanks everyone! Katy , I almost took that greenish glow out of the color version. I thought that maybe it took away from the glass, but I liked it the way is is, so I kept it in. Barry I have two color versions of this photo on flickr. One is the original out of camera ,and the other after PP. I like the color one ,but I somehow feel that this has more feeling in B&W. I tried sepia ,but it just came across as dull to me. Rob, I almost lightened the dark part, but it just didnt blend together well with the rest of the image. It looked out of place somehow. Now I am glad I didnt. Thanks y'all! OMG! I did the ol' texas" y'all ". Now I know I have been here a while. LOL!
