Well, at least here. High surf, wind and a bit of rain but mostly blue skies. Went out to the beach to see what was up, but only the surf and really only minimal. For instance, in the first shot, during Katrina which hit where this one is about to, the waves were crashing completely over the end of the pier. Big difference between a Category 5 and a Category 1 Hurricane. This is one of several Parasailers out having a good romp in the surf. And a fun shot of the shooters shooting the players.

Who knew... it takes a hurricane to get a sunny day.

This is one of several Parasailers out having a good romp in the surf. Chris, given the lack of any visible towing vehicle, I am guessing that person is a kitesurfer. Don't confuse the two (as I did) around any kitesurfer (like my brother), or you will find yourself having to wipe spittle out of your eye. Glad to hear the storm isn't happening for you.

It was the Canon's to the left, Nikon to the right...On the beach, there were about 10 cameras shooting, only three were Canon's.
