After much debate about how to select our featured images that will appear in our photo banner I have come up with a hybrid scheme.
This is far easier to manage than a secret ballot and should only reflect members views of what they have already said in threads where the images appear. The members choice thread is open to members, moderators and admins
Lets see how it pans out and review in a month
- If you see an image on the forum that you consider to be an outstanding example of photography post a link to it in reply to this thread - no words no expressions of thanks - just the link
- The first four (maybe five) different images to appear in the thread will feature in the banner
- A week later the next 4/5 images will appear and so on
- It does not matter if you post a link to the same image as another member since after a month the most linked image will be feature in the Blog
- Only one link per member within 5 days - this will prevent flooding
