Made with an EOS 5D and the EF 85F/1.8 – shot at F/1.8 or F/2 and some ridiculously high ISO to make a shutter speed of about 1/50s or 1/80s WW

That's where the extra stop or two comes in handy on the primes eh :-)
She looks very blue to me. Is that intentional?

Yes.
I made the shot with the intension of it to be a B&W.
But when I originally made the monochrome (B&W only) conversion and it looked too 'stark', so I tried various filters.
It should appear to be a just touch towards purple, from blue - that's how it looks to me.

Whilst the blue hue is traditionally 'cold' - in this image I think it adds something ...

It looks overexposed by at least two stops. I don't find it appealing at all.

Yes, it does look overexposed, but the shot isn't: it is the Post Production.
