Good atmosphere in this. How does your camera cope under-ground? It must be quite wet at times. I definitely prefer it above ground on my bike, with the wind whistling through the hair that I no longer have. I use two cameras, in wet areas I use a Olympus Waterproof P&S camera, then on some trips I will take my Nikon D70 in a waterproof Pelicase. Flashguns die regularly in the caving environment, but ebay is a good supply of s/h flashguns (max price paid £10) these are fired using infrared slaves which have a range of 500m in a cave.

Barry, I can't see the first photo of your last post. Flickr tells me it is private.
I have a real love/hate relationship with being underground. It scares me witless to go there, but I love the beauty and strangeness of a place that we can seldom see. Thanks for posting these.

I reaaly admirer people who really do caving as a sport, for me they really have a big heart... As the 1st picture, I really like it... But if I took this picture, I would crop them and made it a portrait instead of landscape, I would crop the right side next to the person and crop half of left side part... ;D
I really love the 3rd picture, maybe if you can catch the ray of light it would be more dramatic picture..
Thanx...

Barry, I can't see the first photo of your last post. Flickr tells me it is private. It should be viewable here in this thread, it is a photo of the cave entrance from outside with a caver about to descend (slightly soft focus .
