They have started draining the Rodman Reservoir so the water level is up on the down side of the dam.Went there to take some reflection shots and came upon this small group of trees. The image has been clipped on the white side of the exposure somewhat.Have others to look at and will see if I have one that is not clipped so much.I do like what is hidden in the image though.

I must admit, I'm confused with those reflections, can't quite work them out.

Guess it's time to post what my vivid imagination is seeing in this photo. The face I saw first is #1 which stands out better than the rest that I'm seeing.#2 is less obvious as there could be more than one face in this area.#3 is more of a profile look in my eyes. As far as the whole image, the reflection in the water is almost like glass at the top and bottom.A slight breeze has altered the reflection in the middle of the image which I view as a perception into the other side so to speak, thus creating a way to see what is there. In turn it also allows you to see what is watching you. I think I've gone deep enough for now. Will wait to see if get any responses for my visions.

I think this falls in the same category as "beauty is in the eye of the beholder..." I swear, no matter how hard I stare at the now identified areas, I still don't see any faces.
Years ago, in college, I shot photos of cloud formations and printed them panoramic style on a double weight paper, then deftly (at least I thought so), sketched in the faces and figures I found in the clouds using a rapidograph pen, hatching and cross hatching. I wish I stil had som eof those prints, but they sold like hot cakes at art shows...afterall, I was a starving colllege student...
I have been doing the same thing of late using differing layers in SEP and will show you my results soon...what comes around, goes around ;D

I am also looking forward to seeing your work Chris.Presently working on another one from several images that I took of clouds reflecting in the water. One of those has become a candidate for my imagination to run wild. Also came up with some interesting textures to use.

Very cool Rasbury! Love the reflections.Although the all that white makes the image look too busy. I do see the second face, I think! I see one that might look like a profile of a ape like in planet of the apes. I feel that what you are describing or wishing us to see in your photo reminds me of Salvador Dali's" Paranoiac critical method. I really dig this. heres a small definition:paranoiac-critical method - a "spontaneous method of irrational knowledge based on the critical and systematic objectivity of the associations and interpretations of delirious phenomena." You should check out some of his work. Heres a small example in one of my photos. I didnt notice them until after I was done with processing. : The Sleeping Lady and The Laughing Boy" can ya see em? acerpond2 by ebamismoi, on Flickr
