I like this Antonio. The first time I looked at it, I was conscious of the diverging paths of the boys and the car, each headed out of different sides of the frame, evoking the sense of self-contained individuals and groups all sharing the same street but on different journeys. The second time I looked, I was captured by the relationship between the two boys. Such differences in posture and expression between the two! The one on the left seems to be leading the other. Where are they going? What is their story? You have intrigued me.

I do like this. The sense of realism is very good. It's as if I am standing there in real-life. I take it the boy on the right is blind?

Yes, I like this as well. It is a great peek at life elsewhere.

Very engaging Antonio - I too get the impression that the boy on the rt is blind or vision impaired. I really like the business on the rt with the car/bikes/people. The only teeny distraction for me is the dark hair visible of the person in the truck. But of course with busy street photography, part of the appeal is the different aspects of the whole image.

I like it too. It held my attention for a good while exploring the frame and all the different elements. There are so many points of interest that intreague the viewer.
The exposure looks very good in what looks to have been a tricky light situation.

How I photograph street scenes: Camera at waist level and photographing pointing - more or less - to the areas I want. Aperture closed, wide angle and focusing automatically to all points. I do not do it often. So, disasters happen 9 times on 10 !!! In the computer I choose the ones I like. It is not a scientific or elaborated way to photograph and everyone can do it. It's a kind of chance to get a good picture. I show you the original with the cloning the extra person. Black and white is very forgiving in terms of bad cloning. Even not perfect it comes out good enough I do not like the feet cut, so to make a decent image out of this I had to assume such a fact. I do not know why they had their hands together. We see it often in India. I also like the boys and the car going out of the frame, balancing the composition and breaking the rules. Now I have re-done the hole image. I introduced some adjustments in the ACR and moved into a better crop, which is - for me - more dynamic fitting better the image. - @ Janis There is no story behind I am afraid @ Serious bear I don't think he was blid but it is possible @ Jeeperman @ Katy I cloned the person behind and re cropped as you see with better results @ Steve The light ? Hard Sun light at 12 o'clock !

Great tones in this shot and I do much prefer it in monochrome, Your second edited monochrome is so much better composition wise, as the two boys are not so close to the edge, although I still think the girl in back of truck needs to be cloned out, as you can't see enough of her and her dark hair draws my eye.

Great stuff Antonio, you have achieved separation without focus blur and that makes for an intriguing image. I much prefer this style of PP than your previous offerings. The second crop makes it even better. Whether the chap is vision impaired or the owner of a white cell phone matters not the hand holding is a superb observation of human empathy.

Thank you Barry Your wish is my command Just kidding I have done as you suggested. Ever better @ Bear The crop was determinant for the success of the photograph as it often happens IMHO with me at least.
