#1 is very appealing, for both it's colour and composition. It might have been better without the other trees behind the main one, but you can only shoot what is there. It does has a good sense of 'being there'.

I like that. You really picked up the mist and it definitely makes me 'feel' what it's like walking on an early misty morning...well... except for the absence of coffee and the Doodle.

I like #2. The partly visible fence adds to the mystery. Nice shots.
By the way, what's a bi-colour filter?

Love #1...eh on the second...sokay, but doesn't make me necessarliy want to get out of my chair and join someone there for a stroll like the first one does.

Thanks Giannis. A bi-colour filter is just a colour filter with the top half a different colour to the bottom half. In this case Blue fading to Amber. The blue enhances the sky and the amber enhances the warm light on the grass. It can be either a "real" filter fitted in front of the lens, or a "virtual" filter applied in post processing. This isn't "real"

That's probably the effect of grassy path in #1 "inviting you in for a walk..." #2 would be more a boring walk around a lawn with a tree (yawn)
