I stumbled across a website that works quite well as an alternative to Flickr for viewing image collections. Just type portfotolio.net/<your Flickr Ref> to see it with your collection(s). Here's mine ... portfotolio.net/58251015@N06It's a bit freaky if you go to Contacts, and click on a Contact your see their image collection in the same format, and so on ... and so on ...

Very nice, do you know if you can limit the viewing to individual collections or sets.

portfotolio.net/54965930@N07 Interesting. I think this is going to be a good way for me to look at each student's individual portfolio collection without having to dig through all the FSC posts for edits, etc. Good find!

Chris, I am getting the following error. Is your account set to public viewing?
Author '54965930' is not found (maybe he/she is no longer active on flickr).

Sorry Chris, I missed this. The forum is much busier than I am used to. I need to get into higher gear but keep missing a gear and slipping into reverse.

Very nice, do you know if you can limit the viewing to individual collections or sets. Barry - here is an alternative site allows you to select which individual Flickr sets you want to display, it might do what you want ? IMO the display format is not as good, but I've only seen the free version, maybe the pay version has optional formats... Here is an example with 4 of my sets (click " Portfolios" to change the set) link : robn185.pullfolio.comYou can give a web-address that starts with a named set... eg use my set " street-candid" link : robn185.pullfolio.com/portfolios/street-candidYou can also give a web-address that starts a named set at a chosen image number ... eg use my set " chateaux" start with " image 12" link : robn185.pullfolio.com/portfolios/chateaux#12Now that's handy ! Website : pullfolio.com/
