I need to learn how to do this type of shots. Thanks for sharing, Rob. I suspect this are all natural lights?

Thanks Katy. Cheers Jiro, no I don't have any lighting kit, these are all natural light (sunlight through the window onto the kitchen table ;D ) This one is an exception though - it is lit by a multi LED torch!

Just as I suspected. I guess analyzing the lighting on certain images paid off again this time. Very creative on your side, Rob. Thanks for sharing.

Those are fantastic. The water droplets or drops... whatever is proper , the light reflecting off the discs through the water droplets/drops.... fun images!

Rob
The first one is pretty much spot on. The second would benefit from a dab with the clone tool in places in particular top right of the lower bubble, specks in the middle bubble and else where on the image and the arc in the top left corner of the image. Very good work though and the colours just jump out at you. Great stuff.

That's great Rob!
Are you using a polarizer for these shots?

Oh, I like this one, too - it has that lovely washy impressionistic feel - even with the definite pattern. It's more subtle. Too clever! You were just plain having fun, weren't you!

Nice work Rob. #1 is very impressive. I agree with Steve about #2. #3 is a very clever capture. I would blur everything a bit except the bubble.

Thanks all for having a look, @steve - Hmm... those little drops are quite distracting, I will have a look at them (and the edge of the CD) @jeroen - no polariser used. @katy - yes, just a bit of fun! @giannis & Steve - many thanks!

I agree Rob they are a great series, I prefer the first 2 with the natural light, these take me back to science class at school. They look like drops of mercury when you try to move it
