There will always be compromises in life, Chris... even on the Web. ;D Since we have a free forum, Ads are a necessity. As I have said before, if we agree as a whole to pay the minimum $7/month per 50,000 views (it adds up incrementally) then the Ads will not appear anymore. With the pace of growth that we are having and the active participation of the members, we can easily reach this traffic in no time. In the mean time, since the forum is still young and thriving, kindly accept the ads as it is. Thank you for your understanding.  |

Thank you for your generosity, Chris but the forum is really by the members so everybody has to agree in majority regarding the Ads-Free decision. However, reviewing the ProBoards Terms and Condition with regards to the Ads-Free option yes, it works on a monthly basis. If we start the payment say, October 10, 2011 and we are unable to pay after 4 months, the ads will appear again on March, 2012. I'm sure once Steve sees this post he will find a way to deal with this professionally. We still have to set up a payment account to deal with this should the members willingly volunteer to support the forum financially. Again, for the mean time, kindly accept our apologies and we thank you for your patience and support.  |

The adds don't bother me hugely... I don't mind paying a fee. Whatever everyone wants if fine with me.

I get no ads here, maybe because I'm using Firefox with Adblock Plus as an add-on.
