Kite surfers present a problem. The action is on the board, and undoubtedly will make a good shot, but then if you concentrate on that, it is disconnected from the kite, which is the whole point of the image. If only they would use shorter bits of string!! You have some great diagonals here Chris but to get both elements in the shot the action is inevitably so far away. No I don't have the answer. I tried similar shots up in Suffolk last year and came across the same problem. Anybody else got a solution? I think your second shot works the best with the three kites.

We see a lot of these guys where my husband & his mates go windsurfing ( the old chaps do that less chance of injury) all I can suggest is to try & catch them at close to take off when the wind is still filling the kite. Another idea might be to tell a story with a triptych series, close up of each element, what do you think? I will have a go next time I go out thevkite guys can be my lab rats.
