Why the white border around the right and bottom edges? The frame seems to work just fine without it.

The frame is "floating", eh? I like the shot, perhaps not the complementary color of the frame.

Why the white border around the right and bottom edges? The frame seems to work just fine without it. The presentation is generated by the Imagekind site to display the image with the frame and mat that I chose as default. Imagekind presents their site with a white background causing the right bottom white to vanish leaving the drop shadow as if the framed print would appear hanging on a wall. I then save off these images for upload to facebook where I also promote my photography, which also has a white or near white background. To post the image here, I do some digging through the layers of code in facebook to locate their hosted image link which is what I included in my post here. The grey background to f/ just lets the white surrounding the shadow be seen.

I was wondering how fog could be macro...but, of course! Steaphany, I appreciate how you use your unique vision to see this - it's so "modern art fog!"

I'm not crazy about the frame, Steaphany, but I like the image very much. :-)

Steaphany... what an interesting image. It never ceases to amaze me what other people see! Thanks for sharing. Actually, there is a lot to this image. Look carefully into each droplet. It will bring into view the scene, up side down, that is beyond the window screen. In some drops, you can even see the Sun as it burns off the morning's fog. The geometry of each drop distorts the image seen within it, but if you compare drops, you'll see the commonality - A field of green with a sky white from the clearing fog.
