You will notice that Chris and Steve are now administrators. They still continue to provide their moderator role but have both been given full admin powers. This will help them in administering FSC and also allow them to make any changes in format or content they wish. They have complete authority to manage FSC as they see fit. If you have any ideas or suggestions about how to keep things fresh I am sure they will be pleased to hear for you. I will continue as before...doing very little But in the next few months FSC will migrate to Proboards Version 5 which will give FSC the same functionality and flexibility as some of the best discussion board software out there. I will need to devote my time to making sure that the transition is a smooth one and I will start Beta testing on a copy of FSC shortly.

Well, for the first bit of business from me, I'd like each member to list everything they like and everything they don't about this forum in a PM to either Steve Webb or myself. In addition, I would like to know what other features you think we should offer with this forum. I belong to another forum www.luminous-landscape.com/forum/index.php which offers a ton of "other stuff" like equipment review, How to's in LR, ACR, CS6, etc. Maybe this is where we should take the forum to ensure more hits and hopefully more members. I will not speak for anyone on this forum but me but I really hope we don't go toward photo competitions. I think it creates a very derisive environment which is not conducive to creating better photographs but instead to "winning." Anyway, in the last few days, I've seen quite a drop off in responses or additions. There a number of members who haven't posted in ages and I would like to know what ails them or if its just life getting in the way of productivity. Gracias

Does this mean I can't slap Chris around anymore? I do so enjoy giving him a tap every now and again. Don't stay away too long, now; we miss you. Thanks Steve and Chris, for all that you do.

Naw, you can still give me a little love tap now and again...just don't leave bruises or other telltale marks.

Ooooh, the power. The boink button has turned green now so watch out folks ;D
Seriously though, Chris and I are very keen to do whatever we can to support the forum and it's current loyal members, but also to try and attract some new members along the way. We have a wonderful place here already and our biggest problem is how to we tell people about it.
Please do just spend 5 minutes having a think if there is anything you don't like, or would really like to see on the forum. Chris and I have lots of ideas but this has always been a member driven forum so your input is essential.

"The boink button." Ooh lala. I will give some thought to this over the next day or so, but would like to immediately echo Chris on the "no comps, please' front. That was what ultimately drove me away from the other place. If I am somewhat absent lately, that is not due to disinterest or boredom, more to life and other matters temporarily inhabiting my free time. You all know the Gobble Monster, don't you.
