Came home for lunch one day this week and broke out the Paul Reed Smith(one of the guitars I'm babysitting)to take some photo's.Not a good idea as I had rushed through the shot's and this is the only one that came out alright.Will get it back out today and spend more time with it. f/8@1/125 sec,ISO 400,28 stack image

While I see your stacking technique improving, I think in this image there is too much frontal light which seems to be causing a bit of flare in the front as well in the back top left (though back left may be a stacking issue).. A good diffuser would do wonders.
You may want to do a quick select on the numbers, go to the HSB adjustment tool and in yellows increase lightness and perhaps desaturate a bit...makes those numbers nice and white.
