I love #2 Giannis. The diagonals are working in both directions in that image. The colors in your second shot do it for me Mick.Great image. The colors in your first look great also Rob. Seeing some really cool images in this thread.

I love the different perspectives coming from everyone's entries!!! Rob, that park bench gave me a sense of vertigo, at first. At first, I couldn't tell what it was and felt like I was someplace up very high and afraid to look down.

Thanks for the comments guys. I hope to get some more. time is running out... The verticals of the masts are masking the diagonals of the stays. You're right Mick.

You guys set a high bar. This is one of a favorite subject, revisited. The hunt continues. Three more shot with the trusty S95: I acknowledge that I, too, may be stretching the definition a bit. One more to go.

Janis, your photo seems to be unavailable for viewing. Yes, I saw that. I think Flickr was hiccuping; you should be able to see it now.

Yes, I saw that. I think Flickr was hiccuping; you should be able to see it now. I guess so. Good control on the exposure. Looks like a part of a metallic sculpture.

Found these today on our Worldwide shoot. I think this could also fall into a diagonals category. At the risk of being a "pendant" Chris, the assignment does not permit the use of "frames or borders".

Only back today from my week away and dinner's calling, and I've not done a fraction of the catch-up posts I wanted to do yet, but since the deadline for the assignment's coming up fast I thought I'd better honour my promise to post on time I've loved looking at the other entries, but please forgive me rushing as the sun is going down and I must away I stretched the definition of 'diagonals' a bit.....or curved them, more like, but I hope they qualify. I had great fun doing them and learned a lot in the processs. Cheers and Night Night, Seri

Awesome images, guys. Thanks for participating. The others still have a whole day til today to complete the assignment before we put up a new assignment next.
Kit, love the uniqueness of your subjects. Mike, those shots are really good. Chris, you can still add some to complete the 5-shot requirement. ;D Seri, your new shots are very inspiring!
