I'd be very grateful for some advice on a problem that suddenly occurred a few months ago. Whenever I open SEP 2 it positions itself too far to the left of my screen so that half of the preset previews are hidden, and there is no way to centre it or move it at all unless I engage Spaces, press f8 to open it in the top left square, and then it will centre itself when I press f10. However, it will revert to opening in its usual, partly hidden way the next time I open the program, whether directly or via LR3. I've not had a single problem with SEP 2 since I got it. Just this bad positioning, which wasn't there for the first few months. I've spent ages trying to discover a fix on the net, but with no luck. Do I have to uninstall and reinstall, or is there a simpler way to do this? I'm using a 27" iMac. None of my other programs are opening off centre like this. Help Seri

Check at Nik Sofwares' site if there is an update for SEP 2 running on Mac OSX. I have heard of some weird problems with SEP2 when used on a Mac system before. I'm not so sure if this issue was one of them. Good luck, Seri.

Jiro, thanks so much for coming to my aid. I have followed orders, as always, and downloaded version 2.004, but to no avail. I'm still left with the situation depicted above. So I'm afraid that your doubts were correct, and this is not a situation that is correctable via updating. I can still use the program, but it's irritating, is all. Do you have a plan B? Cheers, Seri

Plan #1: Email Nik Software and tell them what is happening with your setup together with the full data on your Mac's OSX version and specs (like RAM installed, Video Card type, etc...). Wait for a reply as they are known to be a little slow on the response side.
Plan #2: Change to a PC. Hahaha! Just kidding. ;D

I still don't feel sleepy, but that kind of unreal sleep-deprivation state is setting in, so I don't want to attempt anything too tricky at the moment As for Plan #2, you know full well how us Mac converts will react to such a blasphemous suggestion! Not that I'm saying Macs are perfect. I will never understand why they feel the need to taunt us by not having a # key on that cute little keyboard (Alt + 3 for anyone who's still looking). And I'll never learn the several thousand keyboard commands. But go back to a PC? Never! Our old one is in retirement downstairs and is working out its final years as a provider of online films, and that's it Cheers, Seri

Quick update, Jiro,
Thanks again for your advice to contact Nik directly. The Nik team in Hamburg is brilliant. Got back to me within 24 hours and have requested that screen shot. Will let you know what solutions they come up with.
