After all of the years of using a DSLR I have been very lucky, at removing any dust on my sensor with either a blower of a Arctic Butterfly brush. But after trying to remove a bit of dust this evening using the Arctic Butterfly brush, I seemed to have picked up a bit of oil from the shutter and accidentally got it onto the Sensor filter. So a wet clean will now be required. So it will be a trip down to our local camera shop on Saturday when they open again and see what they keep in stock in the way of wet cleaners.
Will let you all know how well it goes.

My local camera shop was open today, so I popped down to buy a wet cleaning kit, but as it was quiet in the shop, they cleaned the sensor for me without any charge. So I now have a nice shiny dust free sensor again ;D . Guess this is another reason for supporting your local shop and buying my cameras from them.

SteveWe, we need some fantastically relieved and happy smiley for the occasion, I think!

Here is the result of me accidentally touching the sides of the camera chamber with my Arctic Butterfly brush and then brushing the sensor filter. I will not be making that mistake again. My sensor is now nice and clean, the sensor was cleaned using visible dust green swabs and sensor clean fluid and performed by my local camera shop.

And I thought you were photographing Blue Streak, or has that now disappeared too?
