I'm not even sure what it's called...Is there not a way to make it so that my information, and invisible computer signature, goes with my image? Does anyone know what I'm talking about? Can anyone point me in the direction of learning of to do this in Lightroom? (vs 1.4)
Thanks, so much! I've wasted enough time trying to figure this out on my own!

You can set it once and then it will work like an action once you click the box that will imbed this metadata to any images you are going to import on your lightbox catalog in the future. In that way, all your LR images have that copyright signature of yours. I'll send you the link later after I pick up my kids from school.

Are you referring to a watermark Katy?
If so, under 'Lightroom' in your menu bar you will see an item 'Edit Watermarks' where you can set up and adjust same.
Have fun.

On the other hand and Willie is right and it is the metadata that you are trying to set, have a look at this tutorial. www.workshopsondemand.com/ps_lightroom/s04/The actual part on setting up metadata is about 15 minutes in and is very clear, but it is actually worth watching the first 15 mins too.

Exactly. I like her impressionistic work, actually. When I tried doing it for the fun of it, mine looked like somebody grabbed my camera while I was taking a shot! ;D

How funny you should say that Willie. I've just watched her latest tutorial and was looking at her images on the wall behind. It reminded me to take a look at her excellent galleries.

She's famous with this type of Photography, Mike. I'm not so sure if she's doing it on post-processing or just like Eva Polak she is doing it by moving the camera (or jolting) prior to pressing the shutter. Kit will sure find these two artists very interesting.

Nice recommendation on Julieanne Kost, very cool work. Seen some of her videos, but never even realized she was a photog.

Oh, wow! Thank you for the help. I'll have to look, tomorrow, though. (and, you've already told me about her, why didn't I just go..... oh, because I didn't even know what it was called.) Well, thanks again!
Oh, hey! So, you all just, already, always have that with your photos?

Oh, hey! So, you all just, already, always have that with your photos? Not on all my pics no, but I have now started imbedding data on my more recent efforts.

Alright! Thanks, Mike, for getting me over to her - keep reminding me of that resource if I'm dopey enough to not check there, first. It was very helpful! I had poked around with this stuff but was a little more than bewildered. I'm learning - slowly but surely, learning!

Alright! What happens if my photos are already loaded into my Lightroom library on my computer? How do I attach the metadata, then? JK's video showed me how to be good forever after, now, but what about everything I've done before??? It might be right there staring me in the face but, for the life of me, I just can't figure it out! Help someone!
