I have the earlier version Lightroom 2, but I never really got on with it. But I believe the newer version is much better having more tools. But I do find it very useful for making up flash slideshows to put on websites.

There seems to be a watershed with Lightroom whereby one struggles for ages then all of a sudden all becomes clear and you can no longer operate without it. I can but recommend perseverance!!

It is WONDERFUL! I love Lightroom but I think that Mike's advice is good - to persevere. I knew, when I first got it, that I'd take a step back but it was frustrating. There's a really good book out on how to use Lightroom creatively. www.amazon.com/Vision-Voice-Refining-Photoshop-Lightroom/dp/0321670094Now, I've been updated to LR 3.6 for three days, now - all the silly little things have been resolved. I love the tools!!! It's very intuitive, really! I'm so happy, happy, happy, happy with it!!!! ;D ;D ;D (Happy enough to use the goofy guy smile, no less!) However, everyone IS wired differently.
