I have used Gimp for a while and enjoy it. I have looked into upgrading to 2.8 but am at a loss. How can they not allow saving to the standard formats such as jpeg and Tiff? You have to save to XCF? A Gimp propreitaery format.
If I can not save to Tiff or Jpeg how would I send anything to print or read the info in any other program?
