I am certainly not going to tout any great skills over and beyond anyone else on this forum but I have used a few tricks that I've either gleaned from another tutorial and modified to fit my needs, or discovered through my own experimentation that I find pleasing and others have commented on in a similar vein.
Cannockwolf, Macromeister, Steve and others on here have shared their skills utilizing various programs (LR, PS and GIMP) and now that we have a thread for these specific editing arenas, I think it is time we ask the members what they want to learn how to do and in what editing format. Then, each of us who know a way to accomplish the desired outcome on that platform can build a tutorial.
I only use ACR and Photoshop so am of no help to someone using GIMP or Lightroom.
Steve was quite gracious in presenting one yesterday and I have several in the works which when I return to the barn will have in the tutorial section as well.
I think the stronger our tutorial section, the more we can share to the overall photographic community, the better our forum will become.
So Guys/Gals what do you want to know how to do?

Chris
I have a tutorial I did a few weeks ago. I thought I'd posted it here, as well as in one or two other places. But I didn't! How do I post stuff in the tutorial section?

Hi Rob Would you be kind enough to post it in fstop-cafe.proboards.com/index.cgi?board=linkstotutorialsOne of us can then move it into the tutorials section. This may seem odd for now but what we want to try and achieve is a tutorials section that is a resource for visitors to the site that may then encourage them to join in. In order to try and keep it as just a resource area and not a discussion board we have restricted who can post so that the tutorials do not get watered down with members comments ( however nice they may be ) or indeed threads that are not tutorials. I hope this all makes sense. Thanks for your input Rob, any tutorials will be very gratefully received.

Thanks, Steve. I didn't understand that process at all, but funnily enough it seems to have worked - I think. Thanks for your help.

Thanks for taking the time to do that tutorial Rob. It's excellent as usual. I have moved it into the Tutorials section.
If any other member wants to help out by making up tutorials it will be greatly appreciated.
