Been a bit poorly of late - so haven't got out much. Did go to the practical evening at one of the local camera clubs. Cornered this poor orchid - think I maybe overdid the offset positioning. I did a four frame stack @ f8 - just to get the colour bits sharp - then left the rest to blur away naturally. Amazed to get anything under such nice green florescent light!

Nice stack. the colours are good. I think it looks slightly better as a square crop of the left side. I also dodged the whites at the bottom as that bright area at the top tends to take the attention away from bottom. Perhaps a bit more space needed at the bottom? Hope you are well now.

Very nice Nick.
I like Antonio's edit. It looks like a huge mouth like thing upside down. very cool.

Sometimes, just sometimes, the rotation of the photograph gives amazing results. This one may not be the best example however...

And... if I could, I would have rotated clockwise the image a bit... just a bit...

Thank you, Steve, Antonio, and Kay. I've given Antonio's suggestions a try – and I like them!
