Hello everyone!!!!! New here! Been taking photographs as long as I can remember-I've always had a camera in my hand. First SLR was an old Contax.......free! My Mom found it! Gorgeous Camera, all manual =D Love it, still have it. =D Then I stepped up to a N80 - still have it. And eventually (about 6 yrs ago) stepped into the digital world and got the D80..........been shooting as a serious amatuer or whatever you wanna call it for about 11 years now. Weddings, car shows, portraits. Making $$$ on the side, but growing my business this year to make it Full Time. =D Good bye day job! Photography is my passion, never without a camera. =D hoping to learn a lot on here. Always something new to learn.

You caught us all napping Joyina so as the UK rises to a frosty clear morning I will bid you a very warm welcome to FSC. This is a small but dedicated forum and you would be hard pushed to find a better bunch of people on the web. I look forward to seeing your work. I wish you the very best of luck with your business it is good to see photographers making that step.

Whoops looks like Steve was up before me...I blamed you for my early awakening...the cat seemed to be doing that Harlem Shake routine at the foot of the bed.

Small, intimate little band of lunatics is more like it, but we are friendly and we are a pretty homogenious group.
Steve Webb is probably the sanest of us Admins but only because he still has little ones to entertain and a current Mrs. Webb who I suspect holds him pretty much in check. Wirefox holds the holiest grail of power as the head hammerknocker. He says he does some kind of legitmate work but I've always suspected he is a pharmeceutical rep, something you'll come to understand more of later.
Anyway, on behalf of this tiny band of dedicated photographers, I too bid you welcome. Oh, and I'm tame compared to them two guys previously mentioned. I live in a monestary and only think pure and clear thoughts, praying at each shutter release...Oh God, please let this be the right combination. Sometimes he hears me.

I can assure you I have never ever worn purple socks or crimplene suit. In fact I don't own a suit and I have not worn a tie for years...humorously themed or otherwise. My last interview was in candy pink striped shirt with hippy beads and leather thong necklace...I'm in If they can't see beyond the pinstripe you really should not be employing them as your employer. ;D

Steve would never make it as a pharm rep......you have to have product to sell.

Well, now you have a valid point there. He'd reckon he was a candy salesman and there go the products.

Actually candy (or chocolate as we call it in English speaking regions of the world) is one of my few vices...that and vaporised nicotine...oh and 'art' websites and last but not least Sarnian photographers I missed Rob in this thread but then I realised it is St David's day and he is probably crashed out under Charlotte Church clutching a leek in one hand and a empty crate of Cwrw in the other
