I was asked a question the other day that I could not answer because I do not use Photoshop; When starting a stroke with a hard edged brush she needs the 'paint' to fill the cursor for accuracy. Tried many presets but nothing seems to do it...any help would be much appreciated GIMP (what is needed) CS5 (why?)

I would guess it has to do with the pressure sensitive settings for when using a Wacom tablet, the harder you press the bigger the brush gets.
I will see if I can replicate it in the morning if nobody els ehas solved it by then.

Thanks Steve but I solved it. It is the cursor settings in the Mac OSX preferences. There is a bug in CS5 for Mac. The larger thenative Mac cursor the less sensitivity there is in the brush cursor. It is cured by reducing the native cursor size in the OSX preferences.:-)
