A couple of pics of the first and only bud on what is a rather late blooming cactus. The first was a grab shot I took this morning before I left for work. The second was taken this evening when I came home. Both lit with diffuse window light. ISO 400, f/7.1, 1/60s ISO 200, f/40, 15.0s, +1.67 EV

I have one of them! Mine is a fushia pink.
It went from being a small Walmart nothing 4 years ago, to this magnificent creature.
Your bloom images are lovely.

Thank you kindly, all. I love the blossoms on this plant, so if you any shots of your own to share, please do! I'm actually wondering if this might be a candidate for my first attempt at stacking. What do you think, Ra? Too hard?
