The kitty shot is precious, Ron, but why not crop in on the right?

Thank you Janis. I have been cropping my images using a 13x11 template, and I felt this had a good balance to it. I tried a couple different crops and a square crop had his head to centered and looked.....not so good. This image below has it cropped at the grass line using it for a frame of sorts.

I like the last presented cat version, best but all three are well imaged.

What lens did you use for these three shots?

Ooh...the second one has a really dreamy look to it...and the little heart shape in the middle is quite cool. Good shots!

Thanks Chris and Mary!
I'm shooting with the 85mm macro on these Chris. That lens has pretty much found a home on the camera. Going to school will push me to use the other lenses more, because if I wait on myself to do it, It will most likely not get done.
@mary: The background is one of the things I like about this image. The repeating patterns of the plants looks nice also.

Re, the kitty crop, I am liking your first version better on second viewing, but the first time round, I was having trouble resolving the white patches in the upper right corner, I guess because of the leaves breaking up the body. Funny how hard it is sometimes to shake your perspective until you look away.
