If I come to the UK, will you house and feed me and take me there?

Thea says "Yes". I say OK - just so long as you don't have a 'gator in you carry on bag.

Look what you've started Nick. You could be the first host of the F Stop Worldwide Meet Up. Wouldn't that be cool. I could house and feed a couple of people too.
Looks like a great place. 5 and 6 are the winners for me. I love the way the fisherman is just getting on with things while the water is cascading over the wall. Business as usual.

For #2 it would be sunrise – Spring or Autumn. Sunset would be the opposite direction – which could work – but only around mid-summers day. Mind you – one could do sunset then sunrise the following day. Mid-summer you'd only have to wait 6 and a bit hrs, and it never gets truly dark, and the moon comes up just after 2am. Sounds like a plan. …. err.... nice try, but Thea already has a dish washer. It's called Nick.

Thanks Steve. Great idea for a title - "Business as Usual".

Cant wait for another picture with a perfect plan… Sometimes it is good to take a brake from daily chorus and let some helper do it.. And that someone is a professional dish washer called Donny….

Well, the UK is definitely on my bucket list and in the not too distant future. I want to hire a car and drive about the countryside so I'm not tied to one of those silly tour groups. I just hope I can do it and not drive on the wrong side of the road and end up taking out half the population of a small village. When you look at the cottages, outbuildings, etc. and the men who work the boats, you have to know these are some rugged folks who, like their structures have endured the ages much as they did a 100 years ago.

Ha - driving on the wrong side of the road is usually the result of looking and turning the wrong way at an empty junction or roundabout (rotary). The killer is getting mixed up at a Motorway (Freeway) on ramp, and driving into the oncoming traffic. Where I live is atypical of the UK, which for the most part, is fairly densely populated. In contrast, Northumberland has the lowest population density of any county in England (but not as low as some parts of Scotland). Like many rural / agricultural places in the developed world, it has undergone massive de-population since the industrial revolution. The place is littered with unused stone buildings and large churches - apparently out in the middle of nowhere.
