Do you grow other varieties other than what you just posted? I am a definate sucker for winter blooms and these fit the bill. I enjoy the growing of amaryllis as well. Each variety is so different. I have been very blessed with some healthy bulbs, and for that I am grateful.

I think I was lucky enough with my post to photograph it before my wife and I either drowned it or tested it's desert loving characteristics. I guess somebody must have given it to us not knowing our inability to keep anything alive other than ourselves and the children.
