Lovely Don. I like the processing but I would like to be able to see the bee a bit better against the background. Maybe a very selective Shadows/highlights adjustment on the bee himself?

Good capture Don, but I think Steve has a point.

Thanx guyz... But how to adjust shadow and highlight only on the bee?? I know how to adjust for entire picture.. I do it with adobe bridge.. You'll need to make a selection of just the bee Don. Use the lasso tool in whatever editing program you are using, (if you have Bridge presumably you also have a version of Photoshop) and draw around the bee as carefully as possible and then feather the selection slightly to avoid a hard edge. You will then be able to make adjustments within the selected area. There are other methods but this is probably the most straightforward for starters. If you consider the bee to be the most important part of the image, you could also (after carrying out the above adjustment) invert the selection and then slightly desaturate and lighten the rest of the image to make the bee stand out even more.

Did you also have cataract surgery? I'm still in the waiting out the total recovery period, but each day I can see infinitely better than the day before. Next one comes Mar 4th ...can't wait to have it all behind me.

Thanx Mike, I already try it but it turns out bad… Maybe I still need to practice doing it…
Chris, its not cataract, there is something like an abscess inside the lower eyelid..
