Nice ones. The purple really catches my eye. I like that they aren't open yet...neat perspective.

#3 is my favourite followed by #4 although I would prefer the petals to be in their prime. The shadows spoil #1 and #2. Nice and sharp.

Thanks Folks, #1 and #2 are mop head hydrangeas - left over from last summer. Basically, petrified on the shrub. #3 was taken from a stone path going up the face of a rock garden. It's a favourite place - as you can see, the topology opens up a POV that helps a lot with the small ground huggers. #4 was the only Rhododendron / Azalea in bloom for miles around. Accordingly, I was in a queue!
