For me, the painting is a little distracting. If I hold my thumb over the figures in it she seems to stand out more. I'm very far from an expert on portraits, so take this for what it's worth, which may not be much.
In any event, the lighting on her and the shadows on the floor really work well for me.

Thanks Ken. I made the figures in the painting slightly lighter because I thought it added another dimension to the image, with them appearing to be looking at the bride. The picture is after all, all about the bride so maybe you are right. I will try another edit with the figures darker and see how they compare.

I think Ken is right Steve. The figures in the painting do pull the eyes away from the bride in an otherwise beautiful shot.
