Very nicely done. How did you get so much detail on the bird with that backlighting - fill flash? If so, it is so subtle it doesn't show.

No flash. I did some of the lighting in PP but mostly this lens is so sharp, so clean and manages such great bokeh that it pretty much becomes more the norm in exposing than the exception.

Nice one Chris… What lens did you used?? This was an 80-400 4/5.6 Nikkor on a D800. Lovely piece of glass.
