A few weeks back I had the opportunity to visit a particular National Trust Garden in the south UK. Mottisfont Abbey is well known for it's walled rose garden – which is particularly good at that time of year. It's also very busy. Accordingly, any form of camera support is out of the question. So for the flower close ups I gave it a try with my 70-200 F4 L IS + 1.4 extender + 25mm extension tube. Had to use ISO 800 – even so – I'm pleased with the results. Nicely done! I prefer the initial B&W to the color version. I'd be tempted to crop a little tighter on the top and bottom. The impressionistic water shot is very nice. I've tried a little of that without much luck. Too many flowers to comment on, but they all look good. I think #8 would be my favorite - worth trying in B&W, imo.
