They are the stabilizing plant of our coastal sand dunes. Without them, we'd simply wash away each big storm. Two versions.

Gosh, these are tough to do. In this case I do prefer the colour version. I like the way you have the three stems converging - bottom right. I think that's what makes this one work. I do find myself wishing that the OOF area on the left side was a little less bright - but likely you've done all you can with that already. Nice job Chris.

I prefer the mono version Chris. I like the composition the way it is but would also liked to have seen the in focus stem on it's own, without the blurred stems in the background.
