Well captured Rie. I watched an interesting TV programme on spiders recently. I can't believe it takes no more than an hour to weave a complex web.

Well done Marie! All are nice - but I LOVE #1. It's the warm light, the overall composition, and the way the web is pulling over the top of the grass - super.

Thanks, guys.
Thanks, Chris. I am back up and about, but certainly on a more limited basis that what I was, before.
Nick and Mike, Chris is referring to my life-threatening illness in Octber. I went into acute renal failure. While today my kidney values are not as good as they could be, I do not need dialysis. So - all is good.

I am havimg some health issues as well in trying to find a medication which will keep my blood-sugar at reasonable levels. The current meds seem to be working but it is the seventh iteration of drug cocktails I've had to endure in the last two months. I go from being "normal" which I do not know how to react to because I haven't been normal in a long time, to lethagic to amped depending on what dosage they have me try. I feel like the proverbial pin cushin with all these daily sticks. Oh well, like you, I still have both feet on the floor. I may be circling the drain but so far am above most of the swirl.

Chris, we need to talk more.
Call me or talk to me on FB? You have not had a good time of it, either.

Sorry to hear about your woes too M & C. Touch wood the fine English air is keeping me fit, so far, although with the impending death of my mother I will have lost both parents in the space of a couple of months or so. Troubled times all round it would seem.

So true, Mike. Somehow, the holidays, no matter how joyful, seem to be a time of loss for some of us.
Thinking of you. I am sorry for the loss of your father and the impending death of your mother in such a short time.

Number 2 is a wonderful shot Rie. Love it, Love it, Love it.
Sad to hear everyone has been up against it health wise. Thank Lord I am healthy at the moment. In fact I have never been fitter.
I have got into running and cycling in a big way and I have lost a stack of weight, I am running half marathons every month and loving it. Now I have made you all feel bad I will clear off ;-)
By the way I know it may be in bad taste but it is the british sense of humour I am afraid, but Marie when I saw your updates on Facebook I was itching to say "surely it should be Rie...nal failure" and "are you off to see the Rie..nal specialist". I know, I know, dreadful.
