Have a look at this wonderful link to see some images that push the boundaries and give you an inside view of how other people live.

Thanks for sharing, Raylee. I always love the spontaneity of life and when it is captured in camera. When viewed as a set of images (like this one) the message of the images get clearer and clearer. I admire photographers who have the determination to do this kind or photojournalistic work without thinking of monetary benefit in the first place. I wish I could find the name of a certain photographer who documented the life of a dysfunctional family with the mother having AIDS and her whole life for 10 years until she died of the disease was captured in camera.
Thank you very much for sharing.

Absolutely fascinating, Raylee! er, that's not the NYC that I visited - neither in time nor space. I like what Jiro said: "I always love the spontaneity of life and when it is captured in camera. When viewed as a set of images (like this one) the message of the images get clearer and clearer." I really admire photographers who can just see the every day of life and how to document it. My words are in an epic fail, here, though.

Kate, mate. I'm sure, If you don a grungy pair of jeans, a hoody, sneakers and a lot of attitude you could go to any town/city In any part of the world and do the same as this. It only takes having the testicular fortitude to try.

Heh, heh, heh, Mick! If I was brave enough - I could just go to deer camp in a couple of months. It's not my place, though. Also, I am from the city - Los Angeles - and, although I was raised in a middle class home, I had friends in rough places; so, I've definitely been 'there' and I'm not that scared - sort of....
You know how so many times one hears it said that writers should write what they know about? I heard the same thing said about photographers. However, sometimes, it seems that it's so hard to see what's right in front of us. Going somewhere else is quite the super jolt to our vision. In this case, though, I'm wanting for fresh eyes to document the everyday that's right in front of me. I can't seem to "see" these days.=/
