I felt that this was the strongest of your set as the de-corker in foreground is so much more dominant in the image. Having the two together, both of equal tones and sharpness, my eye seems to swapping from one to the other without really knowing which one to settle on. The shadow area really makes this one work well, and lying diagonally helps the composition. Lie back and think of wine bottles This one brings out great detail and sharpness. I think this one is the weakest of your set, as the two subjects are two far apart, maybe a third subject in the distance could had worked.

Your honest critique on my mental state of health is most welcome. Let's make love Lie back and think of wine bottles [/center] Rob, regarding your Health mental state - it is more correct this way isn't it ? - I really think you are showing a great sense of humour and you are going well as far as I can see from here. Details of this Health state, I miss them all But let's move to the images. From the two images I selected the first is definitively the best. These Nik software are rather dangerous as they can take you to modify your supposed style - I am talking to myself and to you at the same time - but in these propositions you used it with proficiency. Not that I like all the proposals. I retained the two most striking images. The first for the composition, the sharpness - which I always appreciate in a photograph - and the very exquisite bluish tone. The second image is a detail of similar quality but perhaps the direction of the equipment is not the best. Nothing but a detail. However, I ask myself why have you done two different images and haven't you used the same style on both ? The two images are not coherent Rob in terms of treatment. Not to speak of the 4 of them. Allow me to make you a suggestion: make a series of these images presenting the same treatment across all of them. For example, the two version of the cork whatever (I don't know the exact name) in the same position side by side. You are thinking too straight/ narrow. Think broader. Compare the versions of the cork-screwer (YES, I just remembered) in images side by side. Foot note - I tend to write Health with capital because of it's importance.

I really like the subject Rob and think you could develop it further. I prefer the ones with the "male" and "female" cork liberation devices (CLD's) both in the frame. I think it prodices a very clever result of personifying the inanimate. A collaboration between you and Jiro could be awesome on this one. I see a whole wedding album. What a fantastic concept for decor in a modern wine bar/brasserie type place.

These are all fantastic, Rob. I have viewed them a number of times and find it difficult to form just what I want to say. Just know that I agree with Steve and this series needs to continue/evolve. ;D

Your mental state is a flux between TF and FUBAR. It is they say (whoever the hell "they" are), it is a sign of genius. Then again, "they" haven't met you....hmmmmmm.
I like all but #2 which isn't as glossy, reflective, etc. as the others. Perhaps it is there is more shadow. I think this one would work better on the background you have with #3 though perhaps with the lighting a little higher key. Other than that, whoohoo. You have weiners.

Your mental state is a flux between TF and FUBAR. Ooo, I know. I was down the hairdressers (?) yesterday and I was talking to me friend Irene, and I said to her, I said ''ere, have you got one of them FUBAR thingees? I got one in Walmart last week. Works really well after I found out where to plug it in..."
