Rob they are all excellent but No 1 and No 5 are outstanding. You know you are well advanced as a photographer when you can make everyday objects look sexy. Everyone should take time out for this sort of thing. The combination of technical discipline and artistic presentation are tested to the full with this genre of photography.

Nice work Rob. The lighting is very nice. I look forward to getting set up to trying my hand at this. Inspired.

Another great set, must have a go at something like this. I think your two with the colour just tips the balance for me as the best, maybe it is the white background making them look cleaner shots.

I was on Tomas's mother iPad when I - wandering as an observer of this forum - just found this magnificent series of photographs. When I saw the last one I had to stop for a while and say: Huuummm that's good ! Then, I went up and down again for it for another while. Really great ! Excellent indeed. I do like it very much. So, you are working on sets. Well that is good. But Rob, what I may not like that much is the fact that all images are not black and white but coloured. You can tell me: Yes, but thst is an attribute. It is on purpose. I do believe you, if you ever say so or similar. But - in my humble opinion - it is not coherent. The images looking like black and white are far beteer than the others where the blue pops at us in a dissonant aspect. The second one, curves as you called it, looks a bit out of focus. Is is so or just me ? I wanted to come here to write a comment on these photos yesterday but when I remembered it was too late. I came today. How many do you have on your set ? 15 ? 20 ? 4 of the peeler, 4 of the cork-screw... You are almost ready to submit your series to Silvershotz. www.silvershotz.com/index.php?act=submission
