Getting closer all the time

Two images, the second a closeup of the first. Need the good blacks but also have to have a good detailing of light areas, hold down the contrast and hold my middle tones. What ya think?

Looks a bit grayed out...hmmmmmmmmm. May have been on here too long.

Like this... But I think its a little bit dark on the half way down....
What if you make it a little bit bright to add some more detail???
