Thanks for the comments everyone. This is one of those photos that I snapped the shutter and thought......that's gonna be great, but have never managed to get it quite right.

@katy and @antonio - It was taken in Soth Dakota. A place called Rockerville which is alledgedly a genuine ghost town. It was very spooky and quite windy when we were there. The doors and boards were banging away and then my wife said.....oh my god, something just moved, I'm sure it did. Well if you look at the top right hand corner of the "Company Store" you will see the little critter that spooked the current Mrs Webb

@antonio - I have turned this into a sepia toned scene so many times and always undo it because I think it is too cliche. I secretly like it every time though ;D

@rob - I do like it in colour but it doesn't really give the doom and gloom look that I had so perfectly seen in my head. I think you are right about the trees. Maybe I should try a pano crop??

Maybe it just needs to go on the scrap pile after all.
