Following a query from Barry/Dave I have added a field to member profiles that will allow members to specify whether they are happy to have other members edit their images or not. Whichever option a member selects will also appear in their mini-profile (to the right of each post). The options are as follows; None Specified - in which case nothing will appear in your profilePlease feel free to edit my images Please DO NOT edit my images Please ASK before editing my images I would encourage everyone to make use of this option so new and infrequent posters know where they stand. Go to your profile, select 'edit profile' and you will see the new field as follows;

This is a good move, as it is now clear to see a Members choice. Just please respect the original posters wishes.

I too am pleased to see this option. It is not that I'm afraid of criticism, far from it, having so much to learn, but I have had experience elsewhere of my images being edited beyond recognition, which is just not on. I would also encourage members to give some indication of what they are trying to achieve when posting a shot, because again I have seen unwanted edits which take the image away from the original context.
